SAME GOD, A LIFEWAY BIBLE STUDY, ANOTHER FREEBIE, & MORE

July flew by and now people are talking about school starting. What?! Summer has marched past just like that, and I’m focusing on my Lifeway deadline as well as submitting my book proposal. (Although in order to submit it, I need to write it!) If God enables me to accomplish all that by the end of 2022, I’ll be satisfied and grateful.

THE GLORY OF JESUS: SAME
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, yes and forever” (Hebrews 13:8, NASB).
The truth that Jesus Christ remains the same comforts and encourages me. Though circumstances alter, hardships arrive, joys arise, and sorrows appear, JESUS never changes. I love that. He’s our constant in a world of movement.
- What shift are you encountering? Jesus stays the same.
- What upheaval has interrupted your path? Jesus remains steady.
- Where are you headed? Jesus is with you. Always.
God’s character endures as most beautiful of all. He’s love, light, and life—patient, kind, faithful, merciful, gracious, and generous. He’s also just, righteous, holy, majestic, all-powerful, and more … SO much more. God is the Great I Am.
May this reminder of Jesus’ stability and reliability encompass your heart right now, permeating you with peace. And for an extra-special touch, please listen to “Same God” by Hannah Kerr. A friend brought this song to my attention some time ago, and I’m so thankful because it speaks to my heart Every. Single. Time.
LIFEWAY BIBLE STUDY
My current focus is writing one Bible study lesson for Lifeway, and I wish I could fill you in on the topic and details. But I don’t feel free to share specifics… YET 😊. I will say, however, that I’m thrilled about the topic, the title, and everything God will accomplish through this study. It also excites me to learn more about a particular Scripture passage and share the message God gives me. May He receive all the glory.
When Lifeway begins promoting this book, etc., I’ll be delighted to communicate all the information to you. And I can’t wait! Until then, please keep me in your prayers for the Holy Spirit’s leading as I study and write. Thank you so much.
HOMELIFE
Yesterday I glanced through my desktop folder of HomeLife articles—some published and others unfinished. It encouraged me to see some pieces worth completing, so I plan to finish and submit them as time allows. I also noted the need to follow up with the editor about two articles he’s holding. Perhaps God desires to use this material in the near future to reach people. May His will be done.

God continues to grow my YouTube ministry, and I remain grateful for the opportunity to share biblical truths with my viewers. If you carry questions about Bible prophecy and wonder what Scripture says about end times events, please visit my channel.
It’s an honor and privilege to consider the plans God possesses for His people. We can live with hope today as we look for “the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus” (Titus 2:13). God has an amazing future in store for His children!
We also can live with purpose today, sharing the Gospel message with those God brings our way. People who don’t know Christ as Savior face an eternity in hell, so let’s tell them about JESUS. May God bring many to faith in His Son in these last days.
