Drawing Near: Wisdom You Provide

“The LORD’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Thy faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23, NASB

Abba, Father,

It’s no secret we face perplexities in life. Questions loom, and situations demand decisions. Though we might feel inadequate, overwhelmed, or unprepared, we have to determine a course of action. We pray. We wait. We seek counsel. Until one day, we simply must decide.

But what if we still don’t know the answer?

WE TRUST YOU. In Your infinite wisdom and grace, You stay alongside us as we struggle for clarity. You wipe our tears and comfort our hearts as we weigh right vs. wrong. You grant wisdom when we ask–You’re sovereign and good. Somehow, despite our inabilities or in spite of our abilities, You effortlessly maintain control. As we rely on You with childlike faith, You sharpen our focus. You break through the clouds and gloriously enlighten us…

We don’t wonder anymore because Your Spirit reveals which way to go.

So we praise You. With overflowing hearts, we pour out thanks upon thanks for Your mercies that are new every morning. We trust You, knowing You are and always will be faithful.

Father, we lift up every challenging decision we face today and seek Your will. Enable us–by Your grace–to sense Your Spirit’s direction and rest peacefully concerning the path You set before us.

Thank You in advance for the amazing way You’ll answer. We’re so grateful for the wisdom You provide.
