The Word, Logos, an Expo, & More
Dear Readers,
God is faithful, oh yes, He is. A friend’s post recently reminded me of this eternal truth, and I praise the Lord for His constant faithfulness to this ministry. Please join me for the latest…
The Glory of Jesus: The Word
“And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14, NASB).
It happened twice this past month. God’s Word rose clearly in my mind at a crucial moment, and my heart remains touched with gratitude.
In the first case, I felt so stressed that my mind was whirling, and I cried to the Lord, saying “ I can’t hear You.” Almost instantly, He gave me Isaiah 41:10, “Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Peace washed over my troubled heart, and I felt such gratitude to God for His comforting Word.
The second instance involved a feeling of uncertainty followed by sorrow. Lamentations 3:22 emerged in my mind as I drove toward a destination, not knowing what I’d find. And after discovering a reason for concern at that place, which also included a hurtful interaction, sorrow latched onto me. But, God. As I glanced down at my open Bible later that day, guess what verse “happened” to meet my eyes? Lamentations 3:22-23! “The LORD’S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Thy faithfulness.”
The Lord’s comfort through His Word just amazes me at times. Knowing Jesus is the Word—well, that makes His Word even more spectacular and special. We belong to such an incredibly personal God, and if you need comfort right now, please allow His Word to embrace your heart. In that way, you’ll be receiving a hug from the Lord Himself. ❤️
Three Logos
I’m super excited to share my daughter’s expertise with you! She created a beautiful logo for Proclaiming Him to Women, which is now featured on the home page of my website and displayed below. She also created an Indestructible Life logo (see below) as well as a Heart Stirrings logo (see above). I love them all and hope you do, too! Praise the Lord for my sweet girl’s God-given talents.
Indestructible Life
Season Two is underway, and the messages so far have covered Mary Magdalene and Nicodemus. God is teaching me so much as I prepare and record—He’s so good in every way. I pray every listener benefits from these times in God’s Word.
If you haven’t heard episodes one or two, please click the Indestructible Life image. It will take you to the podcast page on my website, and you can click whichever message you’d like to listen to. Also, please share this page with your friends if you’re blessed by the words God gives me. Thank you so much!

J.D.,
Thank you, friend. Your words are always kind and encouraging – a true reflection of our Lord. Anything good others see in me is all because of JESUS.
Blessings to you in Christ,
Emily
