Mary of Bethany: Pure, Steadfast, Anointed

Oh, my friends,

Do you struggle with being a people pleaser? And do you just feel horrible when people misunderstand or judge you? If you can relate to these experiences, please listen to this message about Mary of Bethany. Her story in Matthew 26, Mark 14, and John 12 can help in more ways than one.

I'd also like to share the Scripture reference/verse for a thought mentioned in this episode. When I talk about Satan as the accuser of the brethren, I just discovered this description is found in Revelation 12:10. However, the verse about Jesus interceding for us is indeed in Romans: "Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us" (Romans 8:34, NASB). Amen! All praise to Jesus!

May the Holy Spirit teach and guide you powerfully through Mary of Bethany's worship and anointing of JESUS. May He use her example to inspire each of us toward a deeper devotion to our Lord. As the song says, He's "worthy of it all."

Dear Friends of Proclaiming Him to Women,

This ministry is not a 501-C3 entity, but it has existed since 2010. The Lord has wonderfully grown PHtW through the years, developing it to the point where I sense His leading to request financial support. I struggle with this, however, and find it difficult to express need. Yet I will try.

An Explanation

I love reaching out to women with God’s Word through writing, podcasting, creating YouTube videos, and more. In fact, I keep a daily planner (yes, the old-fashioned paper kind), and my schedule is filled with ministry work. While I love doing what I do, it would help if I earned a consistent income.

A Request

The Lord has clarified I’m where He desires, reaching women for Him. He isn’t directing me at this time to look for outside work. I’ve learned from experience that a job would hinder the work He’s already called me to accomplish. So, this is where you come in. I always value your prayer support, and now I humbly ask you to consider supporting my ministry on a one-time or regular basis. Every gift will be divided as follows:

  • 10% – Tithing
  • 60% (less uncovered PayPal fee) – Proclaiming Him to Women
  • 30%  – Personal compensation

My Thanks

Thank you for caring about this ministry and encouraging me in it. I feel privileged to serve the Lord in this capacity, and I pray He uses my written and spoken words for His glory.
