“May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness of Christ.” 2 Thess. 3:5, Nasb
Dear Readers,
Funny, isn’t it, how we can think an answer to prayer equals a yes? I’ve certainly made this assumption, yet the Lord recently clarified the truth:
God always answers His children’s prayers, but sometimes His answer is “No” or “Not yet.” (Click to Tweet)
Another month has passed—another writers conference is history—and still no agent. Even so, I’m grateful to share I’m okay with this. I know God is at work, guiding and strengthening me to reach more people for Christ through written words. Despite the fact I didn’t sign with an agent at Blue Ridge, I engaged in some very beneficial interactions with industry professionals. A few agents are interested in receiving my revised proposal, and a small publisher is reviewing my proposal as is. So, I continue on.
God used the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference to encourage, inspire, and educate me. He blessed me with so many new, wonderful friends as well. I just love that part of going to conferences. I also enjoyed reconnecting with old friends and growing those friendships. We’re all on this journey together.
Being a writer is hard work, but it’s oh-so-worth-it as a way to share Christ. (Click to Tweet)
In other news, Reaching for Righteousness, Spanish Language Edition, should go to press in the near future. My publisher, Master Design Publishing, has e-mailed final revisions to me, so I just need to review and approve them. I’m delighted at the prospect of ministering to women in another language—God truly can do all things! Please pray with me for God to stir hearts toward Jesus through this Bible study. Thanks!
Everything else remains pretty much the same ministry-wise. Sophie Woman’s Magazine, Journey, blogging, and prayerfully revising my book proposal occupy my days. Though I wish I could “wow” you with an extraordinary update or an intriguing development, I savor God’s pleasure in our faithfulness. Even more, I treasure the truth of His faithfulness:
“Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.” 1 Thess. 5:24 (Click to Tweet)
God daily sanctifies us—He uses various experiences and situations to make us more like Christ. May we listen to Him carefully in His Word, walk in step with His direction, and achieve the goals He sets in our hearts.
Proclaiming Him to Women Ministries rests in God’s capable hands. He’ll use it as He desires, and I’m thankful simply to be one of His vessels … just like you.
Love to you in Christ,
Love that you remain faithfully resting in and on God knowing He is faithful and true forever and always. His ways are higher than our ways! Love you dear friend, Jenny G
Dear Jenny,

In Christ’s Love,
