Dear Readers,

Thinking I’d write about a meaningful verse in the Psalms, I started to type. Suddenly the Spirit stopped me, redirecting me. Yet I didn’t know where—until I landed here. He gave me a love poem about my Jesus, which you might benefit from too. Because in the plethora of reading options available, sometimes a simple declaration about our beautiful Savior appropriately refocuses us. May we never forget His outstanding qualities or drift from devotion to HIM. I pray my expression of love for Christ will touch your hearts and increase your passion for Him.

He sits with me, talks with me

Reminds me He is near.

Here …

In my heart, my life.

Never leaving or abandoning

Silently, faithfully He remains.

 

Jesus, my Jesus! Everything

The One who lifts my head.

Beloved …

Strong, steadfast, secure.

Never ignoring or turning away

Attentively, comfortingly He listens.

 

My Savior, ever-present Friend

I couldn’t survive without Him.

True …

Life exists in Christ.

Never failing or forsaking me

Forever I’m His, He is mine.

 

Do you know this Matchless One?

His tender touch, life-giving love?

JESUS.

No one else compares.

Never refusing or rejecting

Lovingly, joyfully He saves.
