Welcome ~ I’m so glad you’re here at WRITERS CLINIC.
I didn’t realize my passion for writing until I reached my thirties, and as a mom of three young sons and one daughter, I decided to write a Bible study on the book of Esther. I didn’t even own a computer—haha—so I pulled out a notebook and pencil. My writing journey began.
So much has changed along the way. God has taken me places I never imagined, and He’s shaped my heart more into conformity with Christ. He’s opened doors I didn’t forsee, enabling me to influence thousands of people with His life-giving Word. The Lord also has kept certain doors closed, such as my pursuit of a literary agent and a traditional publisher. While I don’t know what the future holds, I seek to step forward as the Holy Spirit leads:
“The mind of man plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps.” Proverbs 16:9
I love encouraging other writers. I so connect with our dream to influence others through the written word. And as Christian writers, we possess the enormous privilege of communicating about our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
We can access information about writing by googling whatever question pops into our heads. Links emerge on our screens, and we can click away for potential answers. Help also awaits us on numerous blogs, social media links, and Facebook groups. Critique groups and writers’ conferences nudge us even closer to our writing dreams.
My goal for WRITERS CLINIC, however, is to provide a more personal approach in offering tips for your writing journey. I’m glad to share from my own experience—successes and failures. Though I’m not a bestselling author or world-renown speaker, I can:
- Encourage you to reach for your God-given dream
- Stir your writer’s heart toward Jesus
- Impart wisdom and skills I’ve learned along the way
- Provide information from writers in areas of expertise outside my own
- Listen to your questions and answer to the best of my ability
- Pray for you
Please join me on WRITERS CLINIC, where you can gain insights on how to pursue your writing dreams.
In Christ’s Love,
