WHEN WE WONDER WHY
Lord, You know the burdens we carry
You understand details and grasp the
Pain. You’re able to remove the weight
If only we’ll let go.
Give us childlike faith and simple trust
To empty troubles and cares from our
Hands, freeing us to rest within Your
Tender, relentless grip.
Lord, You know the growth You’re producing
Through trials, anguish, and sorrows we
Face. Your wisdom and power excel
Though we often resist.
Teach us to receive Your will with ease
To rejoice in Your purpose and good
Plan. Because You never make mistakes
Although we wonder why.
Lord, You know the joy that awaits us
When You reveal the full picture of
Grace. Your glory will shine with brilliance
In every life story.
Strengthen us to wait with hope and peace
Knowing Your touch cleanses and creates
Life. Conform us to Your Son, Jesus,
Who gave His all for You.
