“Hear my prayer, O God; Give ear to the words of my mouth.” Ps. 54:2, NASB

Lord, sometimes words wait
I am still.
Inside I weep…
Longing for Your touch.
Tenderly You help
Words escape.
You listen, soothe
Peace washes over.
Slowly words form, flow,
Leaning, hoping,
I know You’ll guide me.
Though pain aches, fear grips
You hold me.
Whispering words
Of encouragement.
Intimately You
I rest. You’re near.
Speaking words … stretching?
You plant words, questions
Within me.
New seasons of life.
Like a flower’s bloom
My fragile
Heart is nurtured.
Your Word reveals truth.
Trusting You,
I let go.
